Scoring by Stage

Predict the result of each match before kickoff. Points are awarded when the match finishes.

You earn points for guessing the correct outcome (win/draw/loss for groups; winner for knockouts) and bonus points for guessing the exact regulation-time score.

From Round of 32 onwards, higher stakes mean higher rewards — points increase each round.

R32 match: Argentina vs France. You predict Argentina wins 2-1. Final score: 2-1 Argentina. → 12 pts (exact score). If score was 3-1 (still Argentina win) → 5 pts (correct outcome only). In knockout matches there are no draws — predict who advances.

Daily Boost (2×)

Each day, you can pick one match as your Daily Boost. Points earned from that match are doubled (2×).

If you don't pick a boost, the last match of the day is automatically boosted for you.

Once your chosen match kicks off, the selection is locked — you cannot change it.

R32 day. You boost the evening match. Correct outcome (5 pts base) → 10 pts. Exact score (12 pts base) → 24 pts.

Mega Boost (3×)

Once per tournament stage, you can designate one match as your Mega Boost. That match earns 3× points.

There are three separate Mega Boost slots — one for the Group Stage, one for Round of 32, and one for Round of 16.

Same lock rule as Daily Boost: once your chosen match kicks off, you cannot change it.

You set your R32 Mega Boost on Brazil vs Spain. Brazil wins 2-0, you predicted exactly. Base = 12 pts → 12 × 3 = 36 pts.

Fix-me Pill

When you submit your first prediction in Round of 32, you automatically receive a Fix-me Pill for that round. You get another one when you first predict in Round of 16.

The Fix-me Pill lets you edit your prediction for a live match — but only before the 50th minute.

You can change both the predicted winner and the scoreline. Once used, it is gone for that round.

R32: You predicted Argentina to win but the match kicks off and France scores first at 23'. You still have your pill — go to the match detail page and update your prediction before minute 50. If you've already used the pill on another match in R32, it's gone.

Yolo Boost (2×)

In Round of 32 and Round of 16, you can purchase a Yolo Boost for one match per round. It applies a 2× multiplier to that match. Find it in the Boosts & Pills tab on the Predict page.

The cost is 25 pts for R32 and 30 pts for R16 — deducted from your total immediately when you buy.

You must buy before the match kicks off. You can reassign your boost to a different match as long as neither match has started.

Changed your mind? You can cancel your Yolo Boost and get a full refund — as long as your chosen match hasn't started yet.

If you buy a Yolo Boost but the match starts without you having a prediction scored (or you never assign it), your points are automatically refunded at the end of the round.

Yolo Boost stacks with Daily Boost and Mega Boost for a maximum 12× multiplier.

R32: You have 80 pts. You buy Yolo Boost (−25 pts) on Germany vs Portugal and also set it as your Daily Boost and Mega Boost. Base exact score = 12 pts → 12 × 2 (yolo) × 3 (mega) × 2 (daily) = 144 pts from that one match! Your net is 80 − 25 + 144 = 199 pts.

Vaccine (Score Health Update)

For any live match — group stage or knockout — you can use a Vaccine to update your predicted scoreline up to the 75th minute.

Each vaccine costs 10 points, deducted from your total at the moment you submit the update.

One vaccine per match. You can hold vaccines across multiple matches at once.

Vaccine cannot be used on a match where you have an active Yolo Boost. It can be combined with the Fix-me Pill, Daily Boost, and Mega Boost.

To use it, go to the match detail page during the live game (before the 75th minute). The vaccine option appears below your existing prediction.

You predicted Brazil 2–1 Germany but it's 1–1 at the 60th minute. Use your Vaccine (−10 pts) to change to 1–1 Germany win. If your new prediction is correct, the points earned offset the vaccine cost.

Confidence Stake

Before a match kicks off, you can stake 1–30 of your own points on which team will win. Odds are set by the admin for each match.

The stake is deducted from your total immediately. If your team wins, you get your stake back plus profit. If they lose (or draw in a group match), the stake is gone.

Confidence Stake points do NOT count toward the Streak Bonus or Performer of the Day — only your regular prediction points do.

Stakes are locked once the match kicks off. You cannot place or change a stake after that.

You can only stake on matches where the admin has set odds. Only matches shown in the 🎲 Stake Bet tab on the Predict page are eligible.

You must have enough points to cover the stake — you cannot go below zero.

England vs Congo. Admin sets England as 6:1 favorite. You stake 30 pts on England (favorite). 30 pts deducted immediately. If England wins: you get 35 pts back (30 stake + 5 profit) → net +5 pts. If you had staked on Congo instead and Congo pulled the upset: you get 210 pts back (30 + 180) → net +180 pts. If England loses, the 30 pts are gone.

Stacking Boosts (up to 12×)

All three multiplier boosts stack when applied to the same match: Daily (2×) × Mega (3×) × Yolo (2×) = 12× points.

Yolo Boost is only available in R32 and R16. Mega Boost covers Group, R32, and R16.

R32 match. You stack all three boosts. Exact score (12 pts base) → 12 × 12 = 144 pts from a single match!

Streak Bonus (+10 pts)

If you score at least 1 point on every match played in a single day, you earn a Streak Bonus of +10 points.

A "day" is defined using Mountain Time (UTC-6/7) — the time zone where World Cup 2026 matches are played.

You must have a prediction on every match of that day, and none of them can be 0 points.

Day has 4 matches. You submit predictions for all 4. Results: 3 pts, 8 pts, 3 pts, 3 pts. All > 0 → +10 streak bonus. Total for the day: 3+8+3+3+10 = 27 pts. If even one match gave you 0 pts, the streak bonus is lost.

Performer of the Day

At the end of each day, the player with the highest total score for that day wins the Performer of the Day bonus.

The daily total includes boost and mega boost multipliers, but not streak/performer bonuses.

If multiple players tie for the top score, they each get 5 pts. The sole winner gets 10 pts.

End of day scores: Ram 42 pts, Sita 38 pts, Hari 42 pts. Ram and Hari are tied at the top → each gets +5 pts. Sita gets nothing. If Ram had scored 43, he alone gets +10 pts.

Achievements & Badges

Badges are awarded automatically as you hit milestones during the tournament. They appear on your profile page under "Badges Earned".

Once earned, a badge is yours permanently — it cannot be revoked. Badges are visible to everyone on your profile.

You predict Argentina 2–1 France and that's the exact final score → 🎯 Sniper awarded. Later you use your R32 Fix-me Pill on a live match and nail the score → 💊 Surgeon awarded.

Betting Tax

Net winnings from all bet types — Confidence Stakes, Proposition Bets, and Live Bets — are combined and taxed progressively at the end of each tournament stage (R32, R16, QF, SF, 3rd Place, Final). Tax is applied manually by admin once per stage.

Only net profit counts: if you staked 5 pts and received 20 pts back, your taxable amount is 15 pts. Losses offset wins — if you lost 30 pts on one bet and won 180 pts on another in the same stage, your taxable net is 150 pts.

If your combined net profit for the stage is under 100 pts, no tax applies.

The tax is progressive — like income tax, each bracket only taxes the portion of winnings within that range.

Tax resets at the start of each new stage. R32 and R16 are taxed independently.

The tax deducted is visible on your profile and in the Stake Dashboard.

You win 250 pts net in R32. Tax = 12% of 50 (100–150) + 18% of 50 (150–200) + 25% of 50 (200–250) = 6 + 9 + 12 = 27 pts deducted. Net score impact: −27 pts from your leaderboard total.

Champion Prediction

Before the first Round of 32 match kicks off, you can lock in a three-tier prediction: which 4 teams make the Semifinal, which 2 of those reach the Final, and which 1 wins the tournament.

Semifinalist picks earn 5 pts each (max 20). Finalist picks earn 10 pts each (max 20). The champion pick earns 20 pts. Get all 7 right and you earn a +30 bonus on top — up to 90 pts total.

Your finalist picks must come from your semifinalist picks, and your champion must be one of your two finalists. You cannot pick a team in a later round that you didn't pick in an earlier round.

Picks are locked once the first R32 match starts. No changes after that.

You pick SF: Brazil, France, Argentina, Germany. Finalists: Brazil, France. Champion: France. If France wins the tournament and all 4 of your SF teams actually made the semis → 4×5 + 2×10 + 20 + 30 = 90 pts.
